This is the bio I submitted to Soothe to use on their site. It’s not up there yet, but will be soon!
Adriene “Addy” Crimson Fonte has been an esthetician for as long as she can remember. Since a very young age, she’s been fascinated by skincare products and was always doing “treatments” on her friends and family. Finally, at the beginning of 2007, she received her California state license in Esthetics from San Francisco Institute of Esthetics and Cosmetology and hasn’t turned back! For almost three years she worked at Dermalounge in Burlingame, CA helping them develop both a product line and improved esthetic treatment protocols all while providing excellent treatment care to her clients.
In 2009 she founded www.addysesthetics.com as a storehouse for her thoughts about the products she’s tried. There she provides detailed accounts of the products and what she likes and doesn’t like about them. She also used 2009 to begin the first leg of her Massage Certification process by completing 112 hours of training from San Francisco School of Massage, where she continues to participate in workshops and further training.
Her treatments have a healing touch coupled with a desire to see you at your glowing best. She will want to learn about the products you’re using and what you think of them so she can help you make sure they’re right for you and your goals. During your treatment, she will also work hard to make sure you are comfortable and as relaxed as possible whether this means allowing you to drift off in silence or by providing answers to your questions.
This website is dedicated to my esthetic practice and product reviews.
My original goal in starting this site was to help me remember if I’d tried a product and, if so, what I thought of it. I could have made a spreadsheet (favorite past time) but thought a website would be more inclusive and make it easier for me to share my research.
Now that I’ve gotten so involved in making this site useful to others, I hope that I’ve created a resource for you in your quest to find that perfect product.
Feedback is always welcome!
